Mexico trip less than 1 year away

We are beginning the preparation process for this trip that will be a mix of playing soccer and showing love to others…

The AGUAS IFE (International Futbol Experience) ‘14 is a week-long experience to Aguascalientes, MX. The main goal of this trip is to serve the children of local orphanage called “Dulce Refugio” (Sweet Refuge). We are going to show those children they matter, and that we are willing to leave our homes in another country to come spend time with them. We will be staying in the orphanage’s quarters (they just build a new wing) and will be spending a lot of time interacting with the children, and helping out around the orphanage. Some of the things we may do with the children are a bonfire, take them to a water park, run soccer games, and take them to a professional soccer game. The other part of the experience will be training in the Necaxa professional soccer facility + playing soccer games against youth teams of professional clubs such as Necaxa, Chivas, Cruz Azul and Pumas. The IFE team will be going to Aguas from August 2nd through August 9th, 2014.  Lastly, we will have some time for sightseeing, some great Mexican food, and even an amazing a Brazilian steakhouse experience towards the end of the trip. This experience provides an opportunity for families to bond on a level that is hard to do when we are in the comfort of our homes. It will also allow us to love on children who have no parents, and to learn from them as well.
